Orean The Health Express

My family up in LA have access to some GREAT eats. Every time we make a visit up there I like to try a new restaurant. Unfortunately (or should I say extremely fortunately), I usually end up eating at my families house because they provide me with a good spread of veggie options.

We were in a rush while up there a few weeks ago and I suggested we try a drive thru vegetarian place I had driven by at least 100 times.

This is the African Burrito- Black eyed peas, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, clover sprouts, tahineh sauce, soy cheese, and African salsa.

As you might have noticed, it's a large amount of food! It's a good thing I liked it but I wasn't able to finish it all in one sitting but it made for satisfying leftovers.

That is one large burrito! What is in the "African Salsa"?

you know what, I'm not sure WHAT that was. Well I know it's the yellow line in the burrito but I'm not sure what they put in it... Looks like I have a question to ask next time I go! I was feeling adventerous and HUNGRY that day so I just chowed down- hence the large bite out of the burrito :)

Oh man! That burrito looks amazing! Why is it that burritos always look so crave-able? Maybe it's the freshness...and the fact that I am a salsa & guacamole lover.
mmmm
