Icecream Cake

To celebrate the new year Richard and I ate an icecream cake that my grandma gave us for Christmas. This is the Black Forrest flavor (cherry icecream with chocolate base, chocolate drizzled on top and whipped cream). A delish way to start 2007.

Thanks grandma!! It was great.

Looks decadent! Sounds like a great combination and a wonderful way to celebrate. I made VwaV's no-bake black bottom peanut butter silk pie. It was very rich and delicious. Happy New Year Teddy!

Yum - that looks great. I miss ice cream and the soy ones don't do it for me.

Happy New Year!

That cake looks amazing!! Mmmmm...

I make my own seitan from the Real Food Daily cookbook (it rocks). It's really easy to make - do a search on the Food Network recipes to find it - I've heard it's out there. I just made a "beef" seitan one this weekend too.
