It was finally MY turn to cook again! YAY
Take a gander at our menu:
Roasted Baby Eggplants
Roasted Acorn Squash (to be turned into a soup)
Shiitake brown rice.
The Acorn Squash Soup
Our 3 course dinner.
Desserts were little colorful cakes from Little Saigon (Taro and Mocha Flavored).
I'm at Cara's tonight. We're having a girls night sleep over (both our boyfriends are out of town; we both could use the company- Ender still isn't home either). Tomorrow I work at 7AM. Wish me luck with getting up that early- YUCK
Okay- time for facials and movies :)

I was your turn! Yahoo! Great meal, Teddy. I'm sorry I've been absent for a while. Work, work, work. By the sounds of things, you can relate. I had fun catching up on your posts though.
I left a message for your friend, Cara. I hope her puppy is OK. Movie and a facial must have been good therapy. You rock Teddy!
What a lovely meal...
girls' night sounds like fun -- a facial sounds wonderful. and those little eggplants are so cute.
You forgot to mention that it was fantastically delicious!! I guess I didn't make that clear enough. (I was too busy hoping my pants wouldn't split from eating so much.) Thank you for cooking, you make me the luckiest mom in the world.

Yummmmm!!! This all looks so delicious. Give Cara a big hug for me. I'm sending positive thoughts her way for sweet Ender.
Teddy, on another note, I'm so curious about you living in Thailand. I just got back from visiting a friend who lived in Thailand for a year and have found myself with a huge desire to go there. Did you live there as an adult or a child? If you lived there as an adult, did you go there by yourself? How long were you there for? Did you like it?
Wow, the food looks great! And of course baby eggplants are so cute. I will have to try them roasted like that.
Fab dinner. I love roasted baby eggplants.
Thanks for your visit. Wish I could get nori crisps here...would be much healthier than the potato crisps I keep eating :)
Teddy, this food looks great. I love those baby eggplants, too cute! Good luck waking up, for me it helps having my kitty meow and stick his big butt in my face at 5:30 most mornings.
Everything looks so great and I bet the girls night out was a blast!!
Woah. That roasted acorn squash? Awesome.
:) Mikaela
