Potluck

I've been wondering what to do for a while about today. See, my work is having a potluck and I actually wanted to make something (instead of bringing prepackaged cookies).
Thus, HERE IT IS!

I've made a Hummus sandwhich. Here's what I layered it with:
Toasted mini Bagette
Hummus
Cumcumber
Basil
Tomato
Later I will add avocado to my own (I decided to make it optional because some people are allergic to it in my office and it'll turn brown anyway)

I was inspired by the bagel I had while in San Francisco last weekend. I'm excited for people to try it. Let's hope it's a success!

PS- I'm leaving for NY TOMORROW! EKK (I'm really bad at the flying thing). Once again, Richard will be doing some posting for me while I'm gone ; ). Look for a Veggie Word Scramble soon!

This sandwich looks delicious! I'm sorry that Angel Stadium tried that sauerkraut thing - ick. The nachos you showed looked amazing - those weren't really at the park, were they? I've gotten nachos there before, and I don't remember them having tomatoes, or other good stuff. Well, it has been a long time since I've seen a game.

I love avocado spread on most sandwiches...yummm, yours looks great. I just posted my Potato Salad recipe on Veggies, you might want to check it out too, also a great takealong dish.

Hey Teddy...we're having a pot luck at my work on July 11...wanna come? Bring hummus sandwiches.
Failing that, the wine store has a Christmas in July party. It's at a co-worker's house so it's also pot luck. You can come to that one too. Bring hummus sandwiches.

Going to NYC!? How exciting. Can't wait to hear about that adventure. What a jet setter you are. I'm jealous.
