The "Spice" of Life
Spice as in SPICY of course.
I mention my love for spicy food a lot here and I am curious if there's anything great I'm missing out on. Here's my spicy cupboard in my kitchen:
JalapeƱos
Red Pepper Flakes
Cayenne Pepper
Tapatio Hot Sauce
Sriracha Hot Sauce
I've found these pretty much cover my needs. I use them on everything from pasta to potatoes to popcorn when I want a little kick- not everyday but at least once a week.
If you like spicy, what do you have and what do you use it on?

Have you tried CHOLULA hot sauce?
It's the one that comes in a glass bottle with a wooden top.

I love the names of some of the hot sauces-- so funny.
I am also a huge fan of Ethiopian food, which can be quite spicy.
Spicy is definitely not a requirement for me, but I don't hate spicy food. I Cholula too!
I put crushed red pepper flakes in pretty much everything, and then my husband adds tapatio to his serving. I think I could give him a bowl of oatmeal and he'd reach for the tapatio. :)
But nope, I don't have anything to add to your list!
I love both wasabi and ginger, because their heat doesn't linger like chilis do. We have sriracha around, too -- one of Dan's bandmates nicknamed it "cock sauce," because of the rooster on the bottle, so that's what we call it. Hee-hee.

Heat and I do not get along. I was raised on bland Pennsylvania All-American food and wasn't exposed to "heat" all that much. I wish I liked it, I really do, but anything over mild is too much for my taste buds...

I love jalapeƱos in practically everything. But don't forget fire roasted New Mexican green chiles (hot, of course). And horseradish!
