Black Beans

I've been continuing my exploration of cooking dried beans. Thanks for the bean advice guys!
This time it was black beans. Black beans are already one of my favorites canned. Black beans and fresh cracked pepper is heaven to me.
I'll be having this black bean and zucchini salad with some rice for lunch today. It's simple, but I'm looking forward to it.

See you soon

Oh, black beans are my favorite--and making them from dried is so much better than using the canned ones, to me! I usually make about 2 pounds of dried black beans at a time, and then eat them... and eat them... and eat them...

You're the 3rd blog in a row to feature black beans - I simply love them! Thanks for this post!

Hope to see you blog-by and drop by Veggin' Out when you have time!

That's great that you are enjoying preparing your own beans. If you like chickpeas, I recommend cooking them next!

My daughter loves blacked beans. Later this week I'm making her black bean hummus. I always use the dry beans. :-) She loves them.
