My favorite is a creamy alfredo like sauce recipe I got from VegWeb.com.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26968011.post-1162131281309765622006-10-29T06:14:00.000-08:002006-10-29T06:14:00.000-08:00Whoa.. I could never have things like that that don't match the rest of my bowls!

I only use silken tofu in baked goods. I just don't know how to use it in anything else!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26968011.post-1162065714020720032006-10-28T13:01:00.000-07:002006-10-28T13:01:00.000-07:00I rarely use it but I have added it to smoothies. ...I rarely use it but I have added it to smoothies. Last summer I used it in a truffle pie. Silken firm I use for: maple butter cream or puddings, consistancy and hold for patties and corn fritters, crumbling into anything. I use silken soft for more sauces, thinner dips and puddings, etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26968011.post-1161978533497355022006-10-27T12:48:00.000-07:002006-10-27T12:48:00.000-07:00That looks so yummy sitting there in that pretty b...That looks so yummy sitting there in that pretty bowl!
I use silken tofu mainly for desserts. Orange creamsicle and to-fudgesicles popsicles are awesome with it (Bryanna's recipe from her archives) and so are pie fillings and frostings. Oh and sauces/dressings.
Actually, I don't think I've ever used it to actually cook in an "entree." I will have to give it a try!
Have a delicious weekend!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26968011.post-1161966721024864932006-10-27T09:32:00.000-07:002006-10-27T09:32:00.000-07:00love the bowl! and its contents look fab! I try to make extra for dinner so there are leftovers. Otherwise I'm pretty boring. I like pizza or PB&J. Really! It's one of my favorites.
I've only ever used silken tofu for desserts not for a main dish. Sounds intriguing.Carrie™https://www.blogger.com/profile/03326682699231189746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26968011.post-1161926499224790212006-10-26T22:21:00.000-07:002006-10-26T22:21:00.000-07:00What a cute bowl!! :)Silken tofu...I don't usually...What a cute bowl!! :)

Silken tofu...I don't usually use silken, but if I did, I think I'd want to use it in a dessert. I had a really great dessert once that was silken tofu pieces in a clear almond sauce. So good!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
