Native Foods

Before heading up to Big Bear we decided to go to Native Foods as a good bye dinner.

I had the Tacos with some seasoned fries. It's enough for 4 tacos and my little tummy couldn't handle it all. That means LEFTOVERS for the trip up. YAY :)

Richard had a jerk burger. I've never tried jerked anything before. Richard was kind enough to let me have a nibble. The verdict- 1 and a 1/2 thumbs up (is that even possible?). I enjoyed it but would prefer the tacos any day.

Native foods has these great quotes/advice/sayings on the parking spots. Eat tofu is my favorite.

I'm up in Big Bear now and I'll be posting about my hiking adventure tomorrow.

Here's the best news of all- NO WORK TOMORROW! It sounds like a good Monday to me :)

Your food looks really good! We don't have a Native Foods here. Or a Wild Oats. Or a Trader Joe's. I'm so envious! I've got Whole Foods though so I'm not completely down and out.
Enjoy your get away. With all the overtime you see to have been doing, you deserve it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

We don't have a Native Foods either but a friend just bought me the cookbook so I can't wait to use it. Fries are my most favorite of foods and those seasoned ones look awesome!
